The Department of History is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Nan-Hsu Chen has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, effective August 1, 2026.
Dr. Nan-Hsu Chen earned his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. His research specialization includes Taiwanese History, Qing Empire and East Asia, Frontier History, and Nineteenth-Century History.
