[Teacher Education] Undergraduate Program – Application Announcement for Stage 2 Selection (For Students Enrolled in Academic Year 2024): Submissions Open Until Oct 13 (Mon)

Attention Teacher Education Students (Stage 1 Teacher Candidates):

The Department is about to conduct the Stage 2 Teacher Candidate Selection (candidates must pass both the application review and oral examination to continue pursuing the Teacher Education Program). Students interested in participating in the selection process must submit the following materials on or before Monday, October 13 (late submissions will be deemed a forfeiture).

Applicants must submit a comprehensive report covering interests, capabilities, and understanding of the future working environment, official academic transcripts for all years, and other supporting materials advantageous for review (including certificates of various services and activities), which will be evaluated and scored by the Department’s review committee.

Please use the “Application Table of Contents” (format attached), arrange the materials in the following specified order, paginate the document, generate a table of contents, convert the file to PDF format, and upload it to the Department’s email address: t23029@gapps.ntnu.edu.tw.

※ Please also submit one hard copy to the Department Office for record-keeping.

Required Application Documents:

One Personal Career Self-Assessment Report: Written based on the results of your Personal Career Interest Inventory. You must attach:
- (1) Personal Career Interest Inventory Results: Download and print directly from the “Counseling & Guidance Service e-System” within the “Academic Administration System.” If you encounter system issues, please contact the Student Counseling Center (Psychologist at ext. 7749-5373).
※ If you cannot find your score, possible reasons include:
- A. You did not take the test previously: Please log into the Counseling System, apply for a makeup test under “Individual Psychological Test Application,” and go to the Student Counseling Center (5th Floor, General Building) at your scheduled time to take the test.
- B. You are certain you took the test: Please take a screenshot of your webpage display, download the image, and email it to psychologist Ms. Chen at chenshuyun@ntnu.edu.tw for system troubleshooting or data verification.
One Report on the Understanding of Secondary School Teachers’ Work Content: Topics should cover the current educational environment, teacher job responsibilities, personal educational philosophy, etc.
Other Supporting Materials Advantageous for Review (including certificates of service, activities, etc.): Please use the “Department of History Extracurricular Activity Points Record Form” to organize and list your activities in order, and attach all corresponding supporting documents.
One Original Academic Transcript for All Academic Years: Please print this from the automated transcript printing machines located in front of the Registration Division on the 1st floor.
