[Important] Announcement of Prospectus for AY 2026\u20132027 Government-Funded Teacher Education Students Selection (Nantou County Placement \u2013 Secondary History & Junior High Scout Specialization)<\/b><\/h3>

Attention Teacher Education Students in Undergraduate Years 2 & 3, and Master’s Years 1 & 2!<\/b><\/div>
Eligible applicants, please submit your application before the deadline!<\/div>
Prospectus Excerpt: Department of History Selection for AY 2026\u20132027 Government-Funded Teacher Education Students (Nantou County \u2013 Secondary Social Studies Field\/History Specialization & Secondary Specialization in Junior High School Integrative Activities Field\/Scout Specialization)<\/b><\/div>

  • I. Admission Quota:<\/b> 1 candidate.<\/div><\/li>
  • II. Placement Academic Year & School:<\/b> AY 2029\u20132030 (118 Academic Year), Nantou County Municipal Shuang-Wen Junior High School.<\/div><\/li>
  • III. Eligibility:<\/b> Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria stated in the prospectus may apply (please refer to the full prospectus).<\/div><\/li>
  • IV. Application Period:<\/b> January 12, 2026 (Mon) to January 28, 2026 (Wed) at 17:00 (Late submissions will not be accepted).<\/div><\/li>
  • V. Application Method:<\/b><\/div>
    1. Hard-copy application (please also send an electronic file to t23029@ntnu.edu.tw<\/code>).<\/div><\/li>
    2. Required documents: Please refer to the instructions in the prospectus.<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    3. VI. Application Procedure:<\/b> After the application deadline, qualification reviews will be conducted by the Department\/Graduate Institute. The list of qualified candidates for the exam and relevant regulations will be announced on the Department website on February 11, 2026 (Wed).<\/div><\/li>
    4. VII. Selection Criteria & Scoring:<\/b><\/div>
      1. Document Review (50%) + Oral Examination (50%) = Total 100 points.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Tie-breaking rule: If two or more candidates have the same total score, the candidate with the higher score in the Oral Examination will be prioritized for admission.<\/div><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
      3. VIII. Examination Date & Venue:<\/b> March 3, 2026 (Tue) at 11:00 AM at the Department Conference Room. Candidates who fail to check in on time will be considered to have automatically forfeited their eligibility without objection.<\/div><\/li>
      4. IX. Admission & Waitlist Regulations:<\/b><\/div>
        • The draft list of admitted and waitlisted candidates selected by the Department will be finalized after review and approval by the NTNU Teacher Education Selection Committee.<\/div><\/li>
        • This selection will yield 1 admitted candidate and 2 waitlisted candidates. The list will be announced on the Department website on March 25, 2026 (Wed).<\/div><\/li>
        • The admitted candidate must complete the check-in procedure before 12:00 PM on March 27, 2026 (Fri). Failure to do so will be considered an automatic forfeiture without objection, and waitlisted candidates will be notified for replacement.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/li>
