Phase II Selection Application for Undergraduate Teacher Candidates (114 Academic Year Intake)<\/strong><\/p>

Attention: All Stage I Teacher Candidates (\u7b2c\u4e00\u968e\u6bb5\u5e2b\u8cc7\u751f)<\/strong><\/p>

The Department of History is conducting the Phase II Teacher Candidate Selection<\/strong>. Please note that students must pass both the application review and the oral examination to continue pursuing the Teacher Education Program (TEP)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Eligible students who wish to participate in the selection must submit the required documents listed below by October 12 (Monday) [Time, e.g., 5:00 PM]<\/strong>. Late submissions will be considered as a waiver of your application.<\/p>

All applications will be reviewed and scored by the Department’s Selection Committee. Candidates must compile a comprehensive report evaluating their interests, abilities, and understanding of the future teaching environment, along with official transcripts and other supporting documents (e.g., certificates of services and activities).<\/p>

Submission Instructions:<\/strong><\/h4>
  • Digital Copy:<\/strong> Please use the “Application Table of Contents” (\u7533\u8acb\u76ee\u9304)<\/strong> format (attached below) to organize your files. Arrange your documents in the exact order listed below, add page numbers, create a table of contents, and compile everything into a single PDF file<\/strong>. Email the PDF to the Department’s public inbox at t23029@gapps.ntnu.edu.tw<\/strong>.<\/li>
  • Hard Copy:<\/strong> Please submit one printed copy<\/strong> to the Department Office for record-keeping.<\/li><\/ul>

    Required Documents & Order of Arrangement:<\/strong><\/h3>

    1. Personal Career Self-Assessment Report (1 Copy)<\/strong><\/h4>

    This report must be written based on the results of your Career Interest Inventory (\u500b\u4eba\u751f\u6daf\u8208\u8da3\u91cf\u8868)<\/strong>.<\/p>

    • Attachment Required:<\/strong> Please attach your Career Interest Inventory results<\/strong>. You can download and print this directly from the Academic & Administrative Information System (\u6821\u52d9\u884c\u653f\u7cfb\u7d71)<\/strong> under the “E-system for Counseling and Guidance Services” (\u8aee\u5546\u8f14\u5c0e\u670d\u52d9e\u5316\u7cfb\u7d71)<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • If you experience system issues, please contact the Student Counseling Center psychologist at (02) 7749-5373.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

      \u26a0\ufe0f Troubleshooting for Missing Scores:<\/strong><\/p>

      • Case A: If you did not take the test originally:<\/strong> Please log into the Counseling System to apply for an individual makeup test. Attend the test at the Student Counseling Center (5th Floor, General Building \/ \u7d9c\u5408\u5927\u6a135\u6a13)<\/strong> at your scheduled time.<\/li>
      • Case B: If you are certain you took the test but cannot view your score:<\/strong> Please take a screenshot<\/strong> of your current webpage, download the screenshot, and email it to counseling psychologist Ms. Chen at chenshuyun@ntnu.edu.tw<\/strong> for system adjustment or data verification.<\/li><\/ul>

        2. Report on Understanding the Role of Secondary School Teachers (1 Copy)<\/strong><\/h4>

        The content must cover your understanding of the current educational environment, the job responsibilities of secondary school teachers, and your personal educational philosophy.<\/p>

        3. Other Supporting Documents for Review<\/strong><\/h4>

        Including certificates of extracurricular services, activity participation, etc. Please use the “Department of History Extra-curricular Activities Participation Points Sheet” (\u6b77\u53f2\u5b78\u7cfb\u8ab2\u5916\u6d3b\u52d5\u53c3\u8207\u8a08\u9ede\u8868)<\/strong> to list and organize your activities chronologically, and ensure all relevant supporting proofs are attached.<\/p>

        4. Original Transcript of Academic Records (1 Copy)<\/strong><\/h4>

        Please print an official copy of your transcript (covering all academic years) from the coin-operated print kiosk located in front of the Registry Division (1st Floor)<\/strong>.<\/p>
